Rick Carlesco has been in the financial services industry since 1991. He started his career with Prudential Financial Services in Syracuse, NY where he quickly became one of the top advisers in Central New York, winning Prudential’s Academy of Honor Award. He was promoted to manager in his first year and also earned his LUTCF (Life Underwriting Training Council Award) in 1992.

Rick started his own firm in 1999, IBN Financial Services, Inc. as a FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Broker Dealer. The firm started with ten registered representatives and currently has over 80 reps all over the country. Growing this firm has always been a passion, always believing that people wanted to be treated by the “platinum rule” treat people the way they want to be treated. Clients always come first. That has been the consistent message Rick has presented to his clients and his representatives ever since he started his career.

Rick holds six securities licenses as a financial services representative and as a registered principle. He also holds several insurance licenses. This makes him well qualified to have a conversation with anyone concerning their wealth development, preservation, and deployment, to how to best protect their lives, families, property, and business. He is uniquely qualified to bring you the best the financial marketplace has to offer.

Rick has lived in the Liverpool, NY area (a suburb of Syracuse) since 1980 and has been married to Kelly since 1982. Rick is also an avid Syracuse University sports fan and loves golf. He started a charity in 2014 called Victory for Vets, Inc. raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to help veterans with Post Traumatic Stress get service dogs. Rick was the past president of a local home for the elderly called The Ladies Home of Oswego an institution in Central New York since 1872.

Chris Avery

Chris Avery graduated from Alfred State college with associates degree in 1999 and from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of science in Finance in 2001.

He began his career in the Financial Services industry in 2003 at Prudential Financial Services.  During his time at Prudential Chris obtained his Series 7, 6 and Life & Health licenses.  Since his time at Prudential Chris has held other jobs including bank, car dealership and dental office management.

In 2008 Chris joined IBN Financial Services and quickly accelerated.  He has since obtained his series 4 license and oversees office operations as well as options trading compliance. 

Chris grew up on Song Lake in Tully, NY and has lived in the greater Liverpool area for 20 years.  Chris has been married to his wife Lauren for 10 years and has 3 boys, Mason, Hunter and Ryan.

Tim Evans

Tim Evans is an Air Force Academy Graduate class of 1988 we he earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Then served our country honorably until 1993.

Tim received his Master’s in Engineering Management while working as an engineer for Cellular One until 2001.

Tim is a native of Central New York graduating from Whitesboro High School.  He has 4 brothers.  The whole family spends quite a bit of quality time in Old Forge NY.  His father is a retired Army General.

In 2001 he returned to Central New York to work for Lockheed Martin. Tim traveled all over the world as a field engineer, ask him about all the interesting places he has been.

Changing careers in 2013 to become a compliance officer at IBN Financial Services, Inc., Tim with his engineering mind quickly picked up compliance and has a series 7, 24 and 66 financial licenses. Tim's keen eye for detail has propelled him to the firms top compliance spot and he is a partner in the firm.

Brian Scipione (Skip)

Brian is IBN’s Technology Specialist, supporting IBN by developing procedures in line with our software to make it the best available to our representatives.
 
Brian started off his career managing Tech Support for multiple big chain retail stores. After which, he shifted to Finance where he has worked for more than 10 years. Brian has combined his knowledge of technology and Finance to help bring IBN to where it is today. Giving our reps the best possible service in IBN’s software.
 
Brian loves the outdoors and photography. He lives in the North Syracuse area with his wife, son, and pet Sugar Glider. They spend their time having BBQs and adventures.

Kristy Hall

Kristy Hall is IBN’s Brokerage Manager, supporting the firm’s day-to-day operations, program management and implementation of strategic initiatives. Kristy holds her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from Russell Sage College.
 
Kristy has a background in security, private investigative services, and finance. Prior to joining IBN, Kristy was responsible for running the daily operations of a broker dealer with over one hundred registered representatives. Kristy Hall brings over ten years of experience in the financial industry and a direct relationship with AXOS Clearing with her to IBN.
 
Kristy and her husband live with their children and their pets. They enjoy various outdoor activities as well as hiking with their dogs. Kristy is an avid baker and enjoys spending time cooking and crafting.

Kyle Kadish

Since entering the financial services industry in 2004, Kyle has worked with investors to take advantage of the breadth of investment opportunities across all markets.  He introduces investors to strategies, securities, and investment structures to enhance their portfolios. Kyle has found that knowledge and a focus on individual relationships are key drivers to his success. By establishing a personal relationship and consultative approach, he can identify prime opportunities to maximize wealth while factoring in deferred tax strategies.  As Due Diligence Officer, Kyle uses this mindset to source and review investment opportunities for IBN’s registered representatives, advisors, and clients.

Kyle built his career with UBS Financial Services, Natixis Global Asset Management, and Provasi Capital Partners. He was responsible for sales and education of financial advisors and the general public as it pertained to investing across fixed income and equity, focusing on commercial real estate, structured finance, and other income and growth strategies.  Kyle has found that knowledge and a focus on relationships are key drivers to his success. 

Kyle holds Series 7, 24, 66, and 79 registrations and Life & Health licenses.  He graduated from Bryant University with a BS in Business Administration.  Kyle lives with his wife and son in southern New Hampshire.  Outside work, he is an NCAA hockey official who enjoys traveling during the off-season.  

Amanda Johnston

Amanda Johnston graduated from Onondaga Community college with an Associates Degree in Business Administration and from Le Moyne’s Madden School of Business with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Amanda has lived in the Jordan-Elbridge area her whole life and has a working background in customer service and banking. She is currently living with her long-time partner with their son and animals. They enjoy anything that has to do with the outdoors and especially love when they go somewhere they can bring their dog, Rocky.
